If you don’t have to swing hard to hit a home run, then everything I’ve been doing until now has been wrong. Why work too hard when if you got the timing, it’ll go…Unless that only works for Yogi Berra in baseball.
Since I can remember, I believed the opposite…in hard work. I worked hard. I never gave up. I fell down and got up again. I epitomized all the motivational quotes. But what I recently learned is a lesson in timing. After striking out time and time again, the pattern became clear…I always swing too soon.
All of the decisions I made; all of the businesses I started; all of the stocks I invested in, they were all great calls – I know it, yet the the results I expected from my decisions didn’t materialize until far later when other factors out of my control fell into place;  I invested my time and money into building businesses before I gained the knowledge to run those businesses; and my stocks made the moves I wanted after it was too late. No shortage of examples.
I didn’t want to admit it but I am now. LUCK. TIMING. Story of my life. Embrace your truth – This is mine. I may work hard but it is always at the wrong time!
I have no choice but to move on and hope my actions sync up with the calendar! I’m confident in the promise of tomorrow, but tomorrow can’t come soon enough! That’s why, as always, I keep trying – because I won’t get my break unless I’m looking for it…And my newest quest is business brokering. After a successful sale only a few months into my new job with New York Business Brokerage (NYBB), I’m psyched to share my experiences on what I hope is my new schedule!

My varied experience and qualifications makes this the perfect career for me, and as a people person, I am excelling so far.
